We will strive to be accurate and complete regarding the content (information) on the Skin and Life Web site.  However, to the extent permitted by applicable law and despite our best efforts, we do not warrant that the contents, colors, and product images on our website will be error free.

Accounts and Users Over 13

Use of the Skin and Life Web site is intended for individuals over thirteen (13) years old.  We do not collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under thirteen (13).  Do not register on our website if you are thirteen (13) years old or under.

Individuals who register an account on our website will have an email address, username and password.  It is your responsibility to keep your account, username and password both confidential and to keep such information current, truthful, accurate and complete.  It is your responsibility to restrict access to your computer.  You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account, username and password.  If you believe there has been unauthorized use of your account, username and password, please contact us as soon as possible to alert us.

Skin and Life, LLC, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate an account and use of the Skin and Life Web site without prior notice if we so determine it is in our best interest to do so.  Any charges made to an account prior to termination by Skin and Life, LLC will remain the responsibility of the account holder after termination.

The products purchased on our website are for personal use.  Products and samples of products are not to be resold.

You can shop at Skin and Life (www.skinandlife.com) with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers.

Orders Placed with Skin and Life

Once you place an order with us, you will receive a receipt confirmation to the email address you have provided us.  We will contact you via the email you have provided regarding any out of stock items or any other issues with your order. Skin and Life reserves the right at any time to accept or reject an order after receipt of confirmation has been emailed to you (without any reason).  If we reject an order, your credit card will not be charged.  In the event your credit card has been charged, we will refund the charged amount back to your credit card.

Before processing and shipping an order, the order will be validated by bank authorization.  If we reject an order for some unforeseen reason, we will contact you via the email address you have provided.

Orders placed before 3:00 pm Central Time will be shipped out that day (excluding weekends and U.S. holidays).  This includes also Overnight and Two-Day Service requests.  Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following business day.  Business days are Monday through Friday unless a US holiday.

At this time, we do not accept orders that are billed or shipped outside the U.S.  Please refer to our shipping policy for more information on shipping terms and prices.

An order will not be processed if a customer cancels an order (please refer below to Canceling an Order).

Shipping

All orders placed on this Web site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to Skin and Life’s shipping policies.  In the rare event that your order never arrives, notification of lost items must be received within 60 days from receipt of the shipping confirmation email.

Backordered Products/Out of Stock

If a product is temporarily out of stock when you make an order, we will notify you via the email address you have provided that the product is out of stock and the expected ship date.  As part of our product line is shipped from overseas, this can occur from time to time.  Your credit card will be charged at the time the backordered product is shipped to you.  The backordered product will be shipped to you separately from your in-stock order(s).     

Gift Cards

Currently we are offering virtual gift cards. When you purchase a virtual gift card, you will be given a card number (as well as a pin number) to enter at the Shopping Cart page.  The amount ordered will be debited from your gift card at the time of the order.  If you should order more than what is available on your gift card, you will be directed to enter your credit card information for the remaining balance.  If you should return products in which a gift card was used, that amount debited from your gift card will be refunded back to your gift card. You may check your balance at the My Account page. You can request that the gift card be emailed to another email address.  

Limitation of Orders

We reserve the right to limit quantities of an order.  If we need to do so, we will inform you via the email you have provided.

Sales Tax

We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to the state of Minnesota.  If you should have any questions, please contact us.

Payment Options

We accept payment with the following credit cards:  American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa.  Credit cards must be issued by a U.S. financial institution and have a U.S. billing address.  The billing name and billing address must match for the credit card used for purchases (payment).  We accept debit cards from a U.S. financial institution.  You may also pay for an order using a Skin and Life gift card.

We do not accept payment by credit cards issued by a bank outside the U.S., personal checks, money orders, CODs, or a layaway plan.

Cancelling an Order

If you cancel an order or part of an order that you have placed online, please call us as soon as possible so that we can take care of that for you.  Please call Customer Service at 1-888-444-1982 or send us an email at info@skinandlife.com and we will take care of your request.  As we provide shipment on the day of your order if made before 3:00 pm Central Time, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can cancel the order for you. If you want to return an item, you may request this at the My Account page or by calling our Customer Service. Please refer to our Return Policy.

All information and content on this website, which includes and is not limited to trademarks, logos, service marks, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, product information (collectively “Content”), is the property of Skin and Life, LLC and is copyrighted as a collective work and  protected by the United States and international law, including laws governing copyright and trademark.  Skin and Life, LLC owns the compilation, selection and arrangement of all content contained on this website. 

You may not copy, modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, or otherwise use any information or content on this website without the express permission of Skin and Life.
